Hopefully members who have visited Kapparis and sampled the delights of local eating places will post their 'honest' opinions on the place visited. There are the popular places such as Faliros in Kappris & Blue Spice in Pernera, although there are many others which have been frequented but information not passed on to other visitors.

This is the place for it people Smiley Smiley

When we were in Cyprus in September we had a lovely meal at Karras in Kapparis, not the cheapest, but good food, wine and service.

We also visited Just Italian - have been there a couple of times and it has always been good, however on the last occassion the main courses were not the best.  It may have been because we were eating quite late - after 10pm, we will try it again to give the benefit of the doubt!!!

ZIZI's italian on the main road to Protaros (before you turn left at the lights!!) has been fab every time we have eaten there.

Los Bandidos (mexican) in Ayia Napa is fab!!!  Make sure you book in advance however.

And finally, if you like fresh sea food, drive to Potamos and sit in the small picturesque harbour - cheap and cheerful - and where the locals meet on a Sunday afternoon!!!

Hi John & Lisa

Thank you for you post on good places to eat. We are going over in November to take possession, staying for 3 weeks so will hopefully have pleanty of time to try out some of the places you mentioned. We did eat at the Faliros in Kapparis and the food also service was brilliant!! Another really good place to try next time you're over is, The Blue Spice in Pernera. Prices have increased a little over the past couple of years - normally what happens eh - but again, the food and service is very good  Smiley When out there September John, we tried the chinese place in Kapparis. We had the set menu and really enjoyed it. We ended up with a 'doggy bag' full of what we couldn't eat so I had what was left the next day Smiley

Thanks again John & Lisa, I hope we can get this forum going so we all can keep up with things.

We had a fantastic meal at Faliros and would recommend it highly.
Karras is also very good.
Kapparis, for a small place, has a good and varied selection of restaurants and I look forward to trying more in the future.

Hi All,
Kapparis has just seen the opening of The China House (Chinese Restaurant) at the far end from the Great Kings or as you enter from the roundabout.
Had a meal there last week, service very good, food very good pleasant surrounding.
Definitely Worth a Try if you like your Chinese.

We also tried the other chinese (opposite Mello), the food was fab and service excellent.  We had a set meal for two and had a mountain of food.  We took two friends of ours and ordered a set meal for two, increased by one more to make it a set meal for three and it was enough food for the four of us!!!

Got a bad report from someone about the China House last time we were out. Although we ate there in Feb and it was good but not cheap!

Hi All

Just returned from the great kings & found a fantastic chinese in Ayia Napa called Petit Palace, it is just off nissi ave, turn up street from romeo's pub and it is on the left. Set menu for around 15 euros is fantastic, ours friends who have lived there for 6 years recommended it to us.

The manadarin in protarus strip by the greenery, the all you can eat buffet for 9.95 euros is poor.
